Heavy Rain Warning: IMD on Sunday issued an orange alert for nine districts of Kerala, warning of heavy rains. At the same time, a yellow alert has been issued for Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha and Kottayam districts.

A spokesperson for the state government stated that with this decision, the government would receive an annual additional income of approximately Rs 150 crore. 

Alwal, Trimulgery, Boenpalli, Maredpalli, Tarnaka, Musheerabad, Habsiguda, Uppal and other areas in Secunderabad saw heavy downpour.
