The ED has raided 13 premises linked to the B C Jindal group in Delhi NCR and Hyderabad, alleging that group companies remitted Rs 505 crore abroad through sham overseas investments and inflated share valuations. Documents seized suggest fund transfers to Dubai-based entities controlled by Shyam Sunder Jindal, pointing to possible round-tripping of domestic capital.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 49th PRAGATI meeting, reviewing eight major infrastructure projects worth over Rs 65,000 crore across 15 states and Union Territories. He warned against delays, urging stricter timelines and stronger state-level monitoring to fast-track delivery.
