Cyclone Montha is moving towards the Andhra Pradesh coast and is likely to intensify into a severe storm before landfall near Kakinada on Tuesday night. The IMD has issued red alerts for Andhra Pradesh and rainfall warnings for Rajasthan and Maharashtra.
