Rajnath Singh flags off first locally built BrahMos missiles from Lucknow, calls it a milestone in India’s defence self-reliance

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday flagged off the first batch of indigenously manufactured BrahMos missiles from Lucknow, marking a major stride in India’s self-reliance drive in defence production. The facility, a key part of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, is expected to produce up to 100 missiles annually for the Army, Navy and Air Force.
